This Week I Read - Week 2
These couple weeks I’ve read quite a lot. However nothing was so linked to software.
Four thousand weeks I can’t recommend it enough. Yes, it is about time management, but with the foundational view of: your time is limited, you won’t do everything. With that basis it has two ideas I like: (1) Time is just a sequence of moments - It’s just the present (2) There are two freedoms: Fredom from ones’ schedule and freedom to commit with others.
[You aren’t responsible from everything that happens to you](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jcn1SlQyoTs You can only change what’s under your control. It’s a simple idea, but I like how he analizes the social media content that’s been broadcasted about this YOU centered speech.
Angents harness All the software around the LLM YOU CAN and should control - It’s a very interesting concept because I feel like the development around agents is in expansion mode, and not in optimization mode. Software can contribute to building much better products, and even if it isn’t so trendy, it can be very impactful.
Verifier’s law Only the problems that are easy to verify will be the ones that LLM’s will solve easily. You can’t optimize what you can’t measure well.
